Interior Use Floor Hatches for Existing Openings
If you don't want to do a fresh pour of concrete when installing your new floor hatch we have you covered. Our floor hatches for existing openings can be supplied to bolt into your opening or bolt above your opening.
Angle Frame Floor Hatches
Our angle frame floor hatches feature a heavy duty 300 psf load rating. They have a 3/16" thick 2" x 3" angle frame that bolts into your existing wooden or concrete opening. They are suitable for interior use, in locations where moisture/water are not a concern. These are available in single door and double door and all come with stainless steel hardware.

Surface Mount Floor Hatch
Our surface mount floor hatch is our most economical floor hatch for interior use with light pedestrian loads. It has an interior angle mounting flange and features an exterior lockable hasp. The load rating on our surface mounted floor hatches is 150 psf and they are only available in a aluminum construction with single door configuration. These are best for the same locations as our angle frame floor hatches only more suitable for locations that don't have regular foot traffic as they do mount above the opening as opposed to bolting into the opening.

Specialty Floor Hatches for existing openings:
We do offer a fire rated floor hatch in two or three hour ratings with an angle frame designed for drop in mounting as well as pan cover floor hatches with a 1/8" or 1" thick pan incorporated into the cover to allow the hatch to blend in with the surrounding flooring.
